Emily Winfield Martin is a painter, stitcher and scribbler, who lives in Portlant, Oregon with her partner Josiah and their cat Miette, together they run a cottage industry called The Black Apple. Her work is inspired by fairy tales, carnivals, vintage children's clothing, her favorite films, and her own life.
We love how there's a story behind each of her paintings.
