Hi, December starts next week and the countdown till Christmas is almost on, and as it's our tradition we made this cute printable Advent Calendar to help you count the days.

Just print, cut and assemble these little bags and fill them with small gifts and/or candy, this is the perfect activity to do together as a family with the kids and spend a happy crafty afternoon during the weekend. You can arrange the little bags on your mantel, on a credenza, hang them on a dry tree branch from your backyard or you can do what we did, forage some sticks from the beach and hang them with knitting yarn or jute to form a Christmas tree.


We also made a list of suggestions of random acts of kindness for each day till the 25th that you can print, cut and insert in each bag along with the gifts and candies. The holidays are the perfect time to practice and teach our children kindness, the world really could use a lot more kindness and generosity.

Hola, diciembre comienza la próxima semana y la cuenta regresiva hasta la Navidad casi está en marcha, y como es nuestra tradición, hicimos este lindo Calendario de Adviento imprimible para ayudarte a contar los días.

Simplemente imprime, corta y ensambla estas pequeñas bolsas y rellénalas con pequeños regalos y/o dulces (chuches), esta es la actividad perfecta para hacer juntos en familia con los niños y pasar una tarde feliz de manualidades durante el fin de semana. Puedes acomodar las bolsitas en tu repisa de la chimenea, en una credenza, colgarlas de una rama seca de un árbol de tu patio o puedes hacer lo que hicimos nosotras, recoger algunos palos de la playa y colgarlos con hilo de tejer o yute para formar un árbol de Navidad.

También hicimos una lista de sugerencias de actos de bondad al azar para cada día hasta el día 25 que puedes imprimir, cortar e insertar en cada bolsa junto con los regalos y dulces (chuches). Las fiestas son el momento perfecto para practicar y enseñar bondad a nuestros hijos, el mundo realmente podría usar mucha más amabilidad y generosidad.

Lee May Faster-Wilson a.k.a. Bonbi Forest is an artist, designer/maker of textile prints, jewelry, homewares and paper goods based on The Roseland, in Cornwall, England. She studied Fine Art in Brighton and stayed there for a few years after she graduated, and returned to her hometown to look after her parents' menagerie of animals after her brother had an accident. Having to work from their house, she realized that with the internet she could work from anywhere and actually, she really wanted to be back in her motherland near to her family.

Nature is a big influence on her work, leaf shapes, animals, and florals, interesting shapes, colors, shadows, landscapes, and beach finds of shells and sea glass, that she draws upon in her designs. In her work, she likes to explore patterns, rhythm, and stories, the connection of people to nature and our relationships with each other. Her work can be found adorning cards, prints, hand screen printed scarves and accessories as well as a range of jewelry with images hand applied to lockets, rendered in enamel or cut and printed onto wood and perspex, and have been featured in numerous publications, online and in print.

La naturaleza es una gran influencia en su trabajo, formas de hojas, animales y flores, formas interesantes, colores, sombras, paisajes y hallazgos de conchas y cristales de mar, que ella dibuja en sus diseños. En su trabajo, le gusta explorar patrones, ritmos e historias, la conexión de las personas con la naturaleza y nuestras relaciones entre nosotros. Hey, Thanksgiving is almost here and although it is not a tradition of our country we believe that it's a tradition worth celebrating, there's something special about people traveling sometimes from far away to gather with their loved ones around a table to drink, eat and most importantly give thanks.

We already copy the not so good side of Thanksgiving, i.e. the exaggerated consumerism that is Black Friday, so why not copy the real important and best side, eating dinner with friends and family and being grateful for them... and also for having a little extra cash to spend the next day.

If you celebrate Thanksgiving or want to host your first Thanksgiving dinner we're making it easy for you, with this printable kit. It includes a menu planner and guest list to help you organize your dinner with less stress, an invitation (it also includes a Friendsgiving invitation if you're only celebrating with friends), a "Give Thanks" garland to decorate your dining room, a menu, place cards (that can also be used as food labels if you're going for a buffet style dinner), recipe cards to share your recipes with each other, and leftovers labels to send your guests home with something to eat the next day, because sometimes the sandwiches you make with leftover turkey are better than the dinner itself.
