When we talk about ruffles and frills we think of the dresses we wore when we were five years old, but this traditionally childlike style have gotten an elegant makeover during the last couple of seasons, and is now more wearable than ever. Decorating collars, hemlines and forming cascading tiers, ruffles provide a romantic, subtle and feminine detail to outfits. Many pieces combine ruffles with cold or off the shoulder silhouettes that are also on trend, making ruffles even more stylish.
The trick to pulling off this trend and look like an adult in the process, is to make the ruffles the focal point of your outfit, and make sure they're dramatic and structured, also ruffles act as their own accessory, so there's no need for jewellery, or wear jewellery to a minimum.

Cuando hablamos de volantes y vuelos pensamos en los vestidos que llevábamos cuando teníamos cinco años, pero este estilo tradicionalmente infantil, ha recibido un cambio de imagen elegante durante el último par de temporadas, y ahora es más usable que nunca.
