Art We Love: Vic Lee

Vic Lee is a London based illustrator, word smith, map maker and typographer. He's been illustrating since he was a child and spent 20 years as a professional graphic designer freelancing across London and have worked on major branding, interior and retail design projects with some of the leading design agencies in the world.
He takes what he knows as a graphic designer and incorporates it into his love of illustration and also coined the term ‘Londonereas’ (play on London-ers-areas) as a title for his hand drawn and printed illustrations of London’s historical streets. Vic has gone onto bigger more elaborate works, creating murals all around the world using his trademark typographic style.

Vic Lee es un ilustrador londinense, forjador de palabras, hacedor de mapas y tipógrafo. El ha estado ilustrando desde que era un niño y pasó 20 años trabajando como diseñador gráfico profesional haciendo trabajos independientemente a través de Londres y ha trabajado en grandes proyectos de marcas y proyectos de diseño interior y para tiendas con algunas de las agencias de diseño principales en el mundo.
El toma lo que sabe como diseñador gráfico y lo incorpora en su amor a la ilustración, él también acuñó el término "Londonereas" (juego de palabras de zonas londinenses) como título para sus ilustraciones dibujadas e impresas a mano de las calles históricas de Londres. Vic se ha dedicado a trabajos más elaborados, creando murales en todo el mundo usando su distintivo estilo tipográfico.
