Mike Lowery is an author and artist living in Atlanta, Georgia with his wife Katrin Wiehle and their daughter Allister and baby son Oskar. Mike is an award-winning illustrator of many books, including “The Gingerbread Man: Loose in the School” and is the author/illustrator of the “Doodle Adventures” series. His work has been seen on everything from greetings cards to dozens of children’s books to gallery walls all over the world. 

His illustration clients include Workman Publishing, Digitas, Hallmark, Simon & Schuster, Random House, Walker Books for Young Readers, Nick Jr. Magazine, Galison/Mudpuppy, as well as many graphic design and advertising agencies, and the list goes on. He has also been featured and interviewed by the likes of the Washington Post, Creative Loafing, the Huffington Post, BuzzFeed, the Washington City Paper and many others.

Mike is also the co-founder of Paper Ghost a gallery and studio space in Atlanta, and a few years back he showed 16 of his tiny drawings in a show in Beijing. He now travels inside the US giving talks about art and books to schools, universities, and bookstores.
