Art We Love: Viktorija Semjonova

Viktorija Semjonova a.k.a. And Smile is an illustrator from Latvia living and working in London. She started And Smile Studio in 2012 to sell her illustrations, pins, prints & postcards, which since then have flown all over the world.
She named her studio "And Smile" because people always struggled to remember, read or pronounce her name so when she started out she wanted to name her shop something that everyone could remember so she came up with And Smile because that's how she wanted people to feel when looking at her work or using her products.
She works mainly with watercolor and gouache and finishes off her drawings digitally, and is the person who designs, draws, ships, packs, posts on social media & answers all the emails from her studio in London.

Ella nombró su estudio "And Smile" porque la gente siempre luchaba por recordar, leer o pronunciar su nombre, así que cuando comenzó quiso nombrar a su tienda con algo que todos recordaran, por lo que ideó "And Smile" (Y Sonríe) porque así era como quería que la gente se sintiera al mirar su trabajo o usar sus productos.
Ella trabaja principalmente con acuarela y gouache y termina sus dibujos digitalmente, y es la persona que diseña, dibuja, envía, empaca, publica en las redes sociales y responde todos los correos electrónicos desde su estudio en Londres.
