Katie Rodgers a.k.a. Paper Fashion, is an artist and fashion illustrator, originally from a small country town just outside of Atlanta, Georgia, that currently resides in New York City.

Her aunt gifted her a set of watercolors and taught her to use them as a young girl, it quickly turned into a passion and she has been drawing gowns since. She studied industrial design in college, and half way through school realized industrial design wasn’t her dream, and somehow tailored her degree to include jewelry, shoe, and costume design. She created the site Paper Fashion in 2009 as an outlet to share her fantastical watercolors with the world, it has since taken her on an incredible journey.

Curiosity is what leads her art, whether she's traveling or in the same place, it's important to her to look and observe constantly. Her work is inspired by fashion and nature and she uses an eclectic array of materials to embellish her art, including: sequins, beads, glitter, lipstick, leaves and sometimes even her food, and has worked with the likes of Cartier, Jaeger-LeCoultre, Valentino, Swarovski, Clé de Peau, Kate Spade, Coach, Alicia Keys, Calypso St. Barths, Stuart Weitzman, Parker Pens, Lacoste, Elle, and Glamour Magazine among others.
