Adolfo Serra is an artist and freelance illustrator born in Teruel, living and working in Madrid, Spain. He's been passionate about drawing since childhood, so after studying Advertising and Public Relations at the Complutense University of Madrid, he returned to pencils and watercolors at the School of Artediez in Madrid. Since then he has dedicated himself to illustration.

He considers himself an explorer of blank pages, which he constantly fills with illustrations focused and directed to children and young people. He likes above all to tell stories, experiment, and play.

His illustrations have been exhibited in different countries such as at the Bologna Children's Book Fair (Italy), Bratislava Illustration Biennial (Slovakia), Sharjah Children's Book Fair (United Arab Emirates), Ibero-American Illustration Catalog (Mexico), CJ Picture Book Awards (Korea), and Mostra Internazionale d'Illustrazione per l'Infanzia Sàrmede (Italy), and he was the winner of the XIX Illustrated Album Prize "A la Orilla del Viento" (At the Edge of the Wind) awarded by the Fondo de Cultura Económica (Economic Culture Fund).

Adolfo Serra es un artista e ilustrador autónomo nacido en Teruel, que vive y trabaja en Madrid, España. El dibujo fue su pasión desde su infancia por lo que después de Estudiar Publicidad y Relaciones Públicas en la Universidad Complutense de Madrid, retomó los lápices y las acuarelas en la Escuela de Artediez de Madrid. Desde entonces se ha dedicado a la ilustración. 

El se considera un explorador de hojas en blanco, las que constantemente llena de ilustraciones enfocadas a los públicos infantil y juvenil. Le gusta sobre todo contar historias, experimentar y jugar.

Sus ilustraciones han sido expuestas en diferentes países como en, Bologna Children's Book Fair (Italia), Bienal de Ilustración de Bratislava (Eslovaquia), Sharjah Children's Book Fair (Emiratos Árabes), Catálogo Iberoamericano de Ilustración (México), CJ Picture Book Awards (Corea), y Mostra Internazionale d'Illustrazione per l'Infanzia Sàrmede (Italia), y resultó ganador del XIX Premio de álbum ilustrado "A la Orilla del Viento" del Fondo de Cultura Económica.
