We have had this dream for a long time, but didn’t know how to
start. Frenchy was the one following blogs for years and was constantly
telling me all about it. Following this, she quit her job a few years back and
decided to focus solely on her art and selling it online. Around this time, she
also started to take all these amazing courses to help us build what we wanted
for years. And then one they she said “we
need to start this” and next thing we know, we are non-stop blogging. It
has been a hard and fun journey and we are learning so much from other bloggers
and artists that we consider role models for our business. As new entrepenuers,
we follow the example made by these 3 bloggers because they represent the
authenticity we want to project to our followers. In short, we think they are
fun, unique, genuine, kind and hard-working.

Justina Blakeney is a designer, artist and author who believes
that creativity is the key to having an amazing home. She is a true
contemporary bohemian. In Jungalow Design Studio and Blog she celebrates color,
pattern and plants to create a truly unique style.
She is the author of the New York Times best selling book “The New
Bohemians.” This should be the chief reference point for anyone in search of bohemian
design inspiration; indeed, it has amassed over 2 million followers online.
Justina is also the owner of one of the top designer accounts on instagram (a
must-follow!). Perhaps unsurprisingly, she also has her own brand: Justina
Blakeney Home.
We absolutely love the way she mixes hand-made items with modern
design and a sprinkle of the tropics (a clear indication that we are caribbean
girls!) and plants. Her style is unique and authentic. She is successful in
every way and one of the most authentic people on Instagram (a feature not easy
to come by)
Charuca designs beautiful stationery to keep us inspired, and
above all, organized. She loves to share advice and talk about her experience
as a blogger. She is an entrepreneur that gives you encouragement to launch your
own projects. She is definitely a shining light for us, and teaches us that perfection
does not exist; personal imperfections are exactly what makes us all unique. She
teaches courses about how you can take advantage of your Instagram as a tool
for selling and promoting your brand, and is always handing out advice. Her
designs are minimalistic which allows you to add your own wave of creativity to
her stationery.
Charuca's blog is a must for entrepreneurs with small
brands or people who sell products or services. She always talks about the
importance of marketing and communication. For us, she is the role-model on how
to grow followers organically, and get them to interact with us and create a
good online reputation. Because of her, we have learned how important it is for
small entrepreneurs like ourselves to dedicate time to their social network; they
act as a key channel to communicate your brand. And, last but not least, she is
FULL OF POSITIVISM.
We love these two sisters. First, because they are very authentic
and second because they remind us of ourselves; like us, they are two sisters
who started out together. They have a blog about wedding and decoration and an
online store made up of products curated by them and others designed and crafted
by them. We love the relationship they have with their fans and they always have
cute gifts for their buyers. They love giving advice on how to use their
products and share how they pack their shipping in Instagram stories, which we
love and appreciate. We call it "The Boleyn Show".

Nosotras tuvimos este sueño durante años pero la verdad es que no
sabíamos cómo empezar. Frenchy era la que seguía blogs durante años y me habló
todo sobre ellos, dejó su trabajo hace unos años y decidió dedicarse a hacer su
arte y venderlo en línea, ella fue la que comenzó a tomar todos estos cursos increíbles para ayudarnos a construir
lo que queríamos. Un día ella me dijo: “Necesitamos empezar esto” ¡Y lo
hicimos! Ha sido un viaje duro pero muy divertido y en el que estamos
aprendiendo mucho también de otros bloggers y artistas que pensamos son modelos
a seguir para nuestro negocio. Como nuevas emprendedoras seguimos el ejemplo de
estas 3 bloggers porque representan la autenticidad que queremos proyectar a
nuestros seguidores, creemos que son divertidas, únicas, genuinas, amables y
trabajadoras.

Justina Blakeney es una diseñadora, artista y autora que cree que la creatividad es la clave para tener un hogar espectacular. Ella es una verdadera bohemia contemporánea. En su Estudio y Blog The Jungalow celebra el color, el estampado y las plantas para crear un hogar único y espectacular.
Es la autora del libro de la lista de los más vendidos del New
York Times “Los Nuevos Bohemios” para inspirarte en el diseño bohemio, tiene
más de 2 millones de seguidores en línea y es una de las mejores diseñadoras para seguir en
Instagram. Tiene su propia marca Juntina Blakeney Home.
Nos encanta cómo logra mezclar piezas hechas a mano con artículos
modernos y le da ese toque con acentos tropicales (claro nosotras somos
caribeñas) y el verde de las plantas. Su estilo es único y auténtico. Ella es
exitosa desde cualquier punto de vista y una de las personalidades más autenticas
en Instagram (algo no fácil de conseguir).
Charuca diseña papelería hermosa para mantenernos inspiradas y
sobre todo muy organizadas, le encanta compartir consejos y hablar de su
experiencia como blogger. Es una emprendedora que nos encanta, te da ánimos a
lanzarte y en La Lilú la vemos cómo ejemplo. Nos enseña que no importa ser
imperfectas y que es parte de lo que nos hace únicas. Imparte cursos a cerca de
cómo le puedes sacar partido a tu Instagram como herramienta de venta y
promoción de tu marca, nos encanta que siempre está dando consejos y sus
diseños son minimalistas lo cual te permite agregar tu propia onda a su
papelería.
Su blog es imprescindible para emprendedoras con pequeñas marcas y
que venden productos o servicios, siempre nos habla de lo importante del
marketing y la comunicación. Para nosotras representa el modelo a seguir para
crecer orgánicamente nuestros seguidores y conseguir que los mismos interactúen
con nosotras y crear una buena reputación, de ella aprendimos lo importante que
es para emprendedores pequeños dedicarse a llevar sus redes sociales como parte
importante de la comunicación de su marca. Y, por último pero no menos importante, está llena de POSITIVISMO.

Estas dos hermanas nos encantan primero porque son muy auténticas
y segundo porque al igual que nosotras son hermanas que emprendieron juntas.
Tienen un blog de bodas y decoración y una tienda en línea de productos de otros diseñadores curados
por ellas y otros hechos a mano por ellas. Nos
encanta el enganche que tienen con sus seguidores y que siempre tienen regalitos
coquetos para sus compradores, les encanta dar consejos sobre cómo usar sus
productos y sacarles mejor provecho, comparten cómo empacan sus paquetes para
envío en las historias del Instagram, a nosotras nos encanta y le llamamos “El
Programa Boleno”.
