In honour of Creativity Day, our gift to you this year is a printable guide titled "My Own Creativity User Manual." Yes, you read that correctly! Since creativity doesn’t come with a set of instructions, we have created this fill-in-the-blanks guide to help you understand, nurture, and maximise your unique creative self.
Do you remember our "Wander. Wonder. Create" mini zine? We’ve expanded on its concept to create a more comprehensive "know thyself" introspective zine. This new zine will guide you in recognising what sparks your creativity, what dims it or gets in its way, and how to nurture and care for it. It’s not just about being an artist (unless you are one) or having perfect ideas; it’s about paying attention to your energy, your ideas, and your joy. This process will help you understand and "activate" the creative self that resides within all of us.
This half-page zine is beautifully designed and structured like an actual user manual for any household appliance. However, this one comes with instructions, written by yourself, for how to utilise the complex and marvellous thing we call human creativity. Maintenance and troubleshooting tips are included. By the way, it coordinates with "The Creative Journey Board Game" and "The Creative Journey Illustrated Map."
Filling out your own creativity user manual will require introspection, mindfulness, and a bit of discomfort as you explore the inner mechanics and outer influences on your creativity. Think of your creativity user manual as a gentle conversation with yourself. The more you know about how your creativity works, the easier it will be to invite it into your work and everyday life.

¿Recuerdas nuestra mini zine "Vaga. Cuestiona. Crea."? Hemos ampliado su concepto para crear una zine introspectiva más completa sobre el autoconocimiento. Esta nueva zine te guiará para reconocer qué despierta tu creatividad, qué la apaga o la obstaculiza, y cómo cultivarla y cuidarla. No se trata solo de ser artista (a menos que lo seas) o de tener ideas perfectas; se trata de prestar atención a tu energía, tus ideas y tu alegría.
